Nicole once again drops her glamour to show she can really act. She's a cop suffering from severe guilt and PTSD from a deep undercover job, so the movie tells its story in the past and present. It's brutal, the sort of gritty emotionally raw tour-de-force that Nicole can deliver when she's showing off her acting chops, a far cry from Aquamommy. It's also very LA, something greg & tq might enjoy because it'll make them happy they finally got out of that hell hole. Even though it had predictable moments, there was enough of interest to make it engaging. And Nicole is solid as always. Only recognized one other actor from the West Wing (and had to goog that just now to remember where I'd seen him). No swordfights. Some gunplay and fisticuffs. Not particularly DOOM recommended except for former HelLA residents or serious Nicole fans.
