Galapagos by Kurt Vonnegut

Decided to re-read another Vonnegut. This one from 1985, and the writing is much smoother than Slaughterhouse Five. It was an enjoyable, not earth-shaking apocalypse (sort of) story. And he does something clever with his omniscient narrator that I enjoyed, but can't explain without spoiling. Kilgore Trout turned up again too.

I've always loved that name - Kilgore Trout.  Sounds like Monty Python name.

Never read any Vonnegut beyond S5.  And that was so very long ago.  Not sure if I'll go back for it ever either.

Philip Jose Farmer used it as a pseudonym for Venus on the Half Shell. (Never read that - has anyone here?)
