Knock Knock, It's Tig Notaro (2015)

Tig gets this idea to ask her fans to send in videos explaining why she should perform at their places and then picks the best ones to do just that. She’s accompanied by accomplice comedian Jon Dore (plus an invisible film crew) and the two perform sets all across the country in backyards, on farms, in a geodesic domes, on tractor trailers. Part road trip, part stand up, mostly quirky Tig-ness, it has its moments of brilliant spontaneity and sarcastic absurdity. It’s like conceptual art in some places. I was entertained.
