I did watch a lot of Friends episode back in the day. I can't say a lot of the stories stuck with me. But it was fun to see the cast reminisce. The show was broken down into three parts. Section One had all the friends hanging out back on the old sets which had been reassembled for the reunion. I was thinking they had been rebuilt because i couldn't imagine keeping those sets for ten years. But they were the original sets because on the backside of one of the walls, they had all autographed the set on the last day. Section 2 was a live interview with James Corden. This was by far the weakest segment although it did have the biggest revelation about Ross and Rachel having real crushes on each other. The final section was just a collection of talking head interviews about the show from the producers and from people around the world who were influenced by the show.
It was a fun look back. We mainly saw it at the instigation of the Dowager Empress. Lots of talk about who had worked done. I did like the fact that Matt LeBlanc became a meme as "Your Old Irish Uncle" from some of the still shots of the show. He also seemed to be enjoying himself the most. Matthew Perry appeared out of phase with the rest of the group. Almost like he was drugged up. But reports say he was in a lot of pain from a previous dental appointment.
