Has anyone reviewed this before? Jackie is hard to search.
Twas a Natalie Portman weekend at the bungalow (http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...p?tid=5259). This was her 2016 tour de force. Lots of long lingering close-ups of Natalie. Lots of long brooding shots. Complex dialogue one-ers with emotional rollercoasters. It starts with Kennedy's assassination and follows Jackie through the funeral and leaving the White House, an unflinching imagination of what it was like for her. Very moody with faded pastel colors, dotted with bursts of 60s fashion. Brooding orchestral soundtrack, many long shots of just strings playing chords as the camera examined the minutiae of Natalie's facial ticks. I rather enjoyed its style and tone. It's the slow drudgery of burying a loved one. Natalie shines. The digital-melding of historical footage and the CGI Kennedy were trippy. HPf 1 - Olivander. No swords. Recommended for DOOMers who like historicals or Natalie.
