I wasn't into it, but a good friend and partner-in-crime just separated from his wife while I was in Ireland and he needed a reggae fix. I'm good friends with his now-ex too. In fact, she messaged me as soon as I got back to notify me. I've known them always as a couple for nine years now. He was a mess, cycling through the same comments as if to hone his story, really broken.
I didn't really tune into the show. Lots of friends and family of the bands in the audience. A cheap show -$10 cover. Lots of young cruzians, rocking very little reggae wear. Gave my DJ friend a mag (he's a former Kung Fu guy). Said 'hi' to some reggae scenesters. Mostly tried to tune into my wounded friend. I hope to get together with his ex soon too. Both are very dear to me.
