Quite possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.
The combination of bad writing, bad acting, bad set design, bad special effects and lack of reverence to the source material made this excruciating to watch.
I wanted to turn it off but was mesmerized by the train wreck of the action on the screen. Basically combine the anthropomorphics of 'Cats vs. Dogs' with the cleverness of 'Baby Geniuses' and you can begin to start to feel the pain of this film.
I can see why producers want to jump on nostalgia remakes. 'George of the Jungle' was pretty funny; ''The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle' was cute in it's self-referential way. 'Dudley Do-Right' less so.
'Underdog' was made by oafs who had never seen the original series. It was dog-poop joke after dog-poop joke.
Underdog never pooped.
I want 90 minutes of my life back.
