Robert Downey, Jr. and Val Kilmer in a detective story about true-crime pulp stories. The movie is half-serious with the narrator backtracking, correcting himself in a dialog with the audience. Kilmer is a gay private investigator in LA named "Gay Perry". Through a series of events, Robert Downey, Jr. is partnered with him and the mystery unfolds. I enjoyed it. Some good plot twists, some good humor.

It was a very fun rental. Both actors are very charismatic and the writing quick-witted.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
