I recorded this off of Epix . It's Guy Ritchie doing Guy Ritchie things. It's Jason Stathom scowling and talking in his gravely voice. It's dour. The shenanigans are for another show. This is serious euro trash crime spree. It's does jump back and forth along the time line to give everyones perspective of the unfolding story. Not a lot of twists and turns.
The main reason I enjoyed this film is I shot on every location they did. It's all industrial East Los Angeles. The main headquarters for the armored car company is in the Western Bag Company where we Child's Play 2 and The Woman's Murder Club. They popped into LA Center where I shot a couple of films and I see it every week on the Rookie. I've driven on the streets they were cruising on. I kept waiting to see some 6th street Bridge construction but they framed it out. My favorite bit was they enter a tunnel in the basement of LA Center and exit in LA Harbor. They were also on the Vincent Thomas Bridge a lot which we used for Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Gone in 60 Seconds. Ah, Nostalgia. Wait! This isn't a reason to like a film? Peasants.
There were a lot of plot holes at the end of the day. I never was clear on what Jason Statham was doing for a job. He had some connections to the story that were never explained. It also doesn't pass the Bechdel test at all. It's men doing men stuff and the women are pretty props.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
