Ya know, I’ve never read any Agatha Christie, but I’ve seen a ton of movies. This production stars Rufus Sewell who we both enjoy. It’s 2 hour long eps, really just a long movie chopped in two.
They capture to era well and the style. It was twisty and creepy, with a nice Brit style. Had me totally fooled until the end but in retrospect, I should’ve guessed it. The clues were there. I was too hypnotized by its look, especially the vintage op art wallpaper.
Rufus was well cast. His nightmare sequences were amusing. Made me remember electric carving knives.Rufus wears a lot of nice suits and drives a sweet ride.
No sword fights but there’s an effigy decapitated by sword. That was the best part. Not particularly DOOM recommended.
