We watched S1 of the series that we saw S3 of on Brit Box. http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...5#pid46785
S1 is 3 45 min eps but it’s a 3-part story so basically on long movie. Only 2 of the ladies from S3 are in S1. Fortunately one is Rachel Stirling, who has her mother’s (Emma Peel) eyes. She reminds me a bit of Lynda Carter in this.
It’s a tad absurd. The ladies hunt a serial killer using their uncanny puzzle solving skills learned in WWII when they worked as decoders. The solves are ridiculous - like how do they even figure that out based on the clues? Then they do really stupid things like walk into traps. The female oppression angle is good, and the period stuff. The performances are good too. It’s watchable but not totally engrossing.
No sword fights. Not DOOM recommended. S2 is on Amazon - 4 eps, 2 2-parters. We’ll probably watch them at some point.
