Three Days to Kill
#1
Written by Luc Besson, directed by McG and starring Kevin Kostner. Yeah . . . .

Started off well, big shoot out, lots of ultra-vi. But then Besson gets out his big book of cliches and the things go hay wire. Ethan, the CIA hit man passes out during the last job and wakes up to find out he has a brain cloud, I mean cancer. He only has few months to live. He wants to spend it with his daughter who he hasn't seen in five years because of the vagaries of the job (Are you starting to write all the plot points in your head, yet) Naturally, he has one last job to complete. The price he gets is a potential cure for the brain cloud, I mean cancer. No, he doesn't get along with his estranged daughter. Yes, he asks parenting advice from the people he is chasing. Yes there is a family of Moroccan squatters in his apartment who also teach him the meaning of parenting. Yes, his daughter is a typical teen experimenting with drugs, sex, and lying to her parents.

It all got kind of loopy towards the end with lots of fortuitous coincidences. Kostner plays Kostner except he gets to cough all the time because of the brain cloud, I mean cancer.

They did have one good car chase that was very Luc Besson.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

I'll stick with "From Paris, With Love".
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
