In the Valley of Elah
#1
They rounded of the whole cast of "No Country for Old Men" and had them do another movie. Tommy Lee Jones plays the Sheriff. James Brolin plays a cop. I don't think Woody Harrelson is in this one, but he might be there.
It's a story about Jones son coming back from Iraq and disappearing. Jones doesn't even know his son is back until the base calls and tells him he's gone AWOL. Jones then goes on the hunt for his son. It was a different tack at looking at the effects of the Iraq war. There is a lot of army skulduggery making it look like his disappearance is a cover up. Looking back, that angle was a waste of time. It's a fairly good movie. You aren't left hanging like "No Country" and the resolution is effective.
I also learned where the Valley of Elah is and it's biblical reference.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
