It could also be subtitled The Andy Summers Story. The whole movie is told from his perspective. He narrates the whole thing. There are no talking heads (Band or interviewees, really) And it goes really fast. The movie intercuts scenes from the Police's early years with the bands reunion tour in 2007. There isn't a lot of depth to the story. Sting comes across as a prick through most of it. The funniest scene in the movie is Summers stumbling through the back alleys of Tokyo when he comes across a karaoke bar where someone is doing a police song. Summers goes in to help the singer do the song. They had no idea who he is, thinking it's just some dumb American.
