Really should sleep - a big day of talking to people I’ve yet to meet and a bigger weekend on the horizon.

Ironically one of the many subjects cf & I discussed last night was insomnia. He’s been struggling with it a lot lately. I still have my bouts like tonight. We both take melatonin (I took some 2 hours ago) and how we don’t get the sleep we want out of it. It usually gives me one solid cycle - maybe 4 hours down but after that, I often wake up again. I struggled with it a lot when I was teaching Kung Fu, and Lam Sifu had this qigong fix - meditating in zhuangzhong whilst tucking my chin & raising my gaze to just above the horizon. Kinda worked for a while.
Oh. I think the melatonin is finally kicking in…

I seem to get 6 hours and that's it.
Oh, well.

Just look at the news. That should be calming.

That was a fun two hours from 1:30 on rehashing a verbal fight I had on the trail with some youngsters about turning off their portable speaker.

I suspect they didn’t think about you at all afterwards and if they did, they just turned up their speakers and laughed.

Why sleep when you can think about taxes?

Of course I'm up trouble shooting my solar system which is acting weird. I shouldn't be running off battery and yet I am.
Plus I can hear Lily baking in the yard at ghosts.
Its 2am. The fear is gone. The gun's still warm. I'm tired of taking chances.

Popped awake at 1 but got back to sleep
Popped awake again at 3.30 and here we are
My sleep has been off since Monday. That was a late night hammering out my review of MK2 (which goes live in a few hours - the thing with screeners is I gotta work fast). I’ve been taking naps all this week around 3pm to catch up. Those finally caught up with me.

Tweekn because dm miscalculated dosage. Yuki & I hit verve this morning (he was so happy to get a pup cup). I should’ve saved those last gulps of cappacino for this morning instead of downing it in the late afternoon (drank half and forgot about it during my longassbossmang meeting). Got a meeting first thing this morning, just a few hours away.
