As a HUGE Batman fan I have no problem with this. As long as the script is gritty, and as long as Batman stares Clark in the face and calls him a fucking Boy Scout, all is good.

I'm gonna go with The Dingo Man on this one.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

I did not give a rat's ass about comics until I read reviews of "The Dark Knight Returns".

I also did not care about Ween, Daft Punk, The Office U.K., Dr. Who (new series), Mitch Hedburg, Indian food - the list goes on.

I am the poster child for being late to the game.

I became a hard-core baseball fan at 46yo for chrissake. Most of the stuff I put on the DOOM XMas compilations is a few years old.

Do not look to me for the cutting edge stuff. I sample the cream long after it rises to the top.

I hear ya on the murder of the Waynes. Bruce, dude, get over it. That's what I dislike about all old comic superheroes. They are so translucent - such adolescent fantasies. That's why I say that the only genuine superhero is a superheroine - Sailor Moon! Tongue

See? This is happening long before the movie comes out. And I shouldn't care because the second Miller trilogy was pure crap. But much like everyone is hoping the next Star Wars will be good, I'm hoping this will be good, too.

Yes, I still have the original four run series. Yes, I'm still bitter that the comic book store at El Paseo lost my order and didn't give me the five copies of each edition like I ordered so I don't have five complete sets like God intended. Bitter, table for one.
