I watched the first two episodes of this last night and was very amused. Basically Ricky Gervais and some other guys end their mutual friend to see the seven wonders of the world. At least that's what they tell him.
The thing is this guy hates travel, hates crowds, hates new experiences and has no social skills. Naturally they make him stay in the poorest part of whatever country he's in. They arrange for locals to house him and feed him bizarre local foods. His transportation is dangerous, slow and uncomfortable.
He's really funny (I guess he was part of Ricky's comedy radio show) as he describes how unhappy he is.
The first trip is to The Great Wall of China. Included is a Kung-Fu demonstartion/lesson and a nice toad dinner. There's a hilarious bit where he watches people eating frogs, scorpions etc. at the local market. His trip to the public bathroom is pretty funny too.
The second trip is to the Taj Mahal. If he was freaked out by China you can imagine how much he loves India. This episode features penis yoga so Greg will really enjoy it. I don't think this episode will be shown uncensored in America.
Try and track these down. They are worth the search.
