Last year Netflix introduced a feature called 'Watch Instantly'. This feature allowed you to watch a relatively small selection of movies streamed to your PC on demand without having to wait for a DVD in the mail.
The strange thing about this feature is the selection of movies they have available.
Lots of documentaries, bad Sci-Fi and obscure action flicks.
Recently they offered a DVD that enables a networked Sony Playstation 3 (aka 'Rock Band' machine)to access your 'Instant Queue' and stream them to your TV.
This means I am enabled to watch a plethora of films I would probably never have normally rented. I now have a routine of coming home, pouring a scotch and viewing some strange movie that had a catchy title or interesting premise.
This will not end well.
