Snape as a Brit ex-pat wine snob living in France. The new Capt. Kirk as a deadhead vinter who won the first Napa vs. France tasting. It's amusing and CA proud, good with a glass of wine, albeit a little heavy on the poetic fawning over the art of wine. At least, you don't have to watch Giamatti make goofy faces while peeping on ugly nekkid people fornicating.

Do we really need another film about wine snobs? Although I did want to see it because of Alan Rickman.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

...I'm always afraid they'll revoke my CA status for not being that into wine.
But Snape as a wine snob? He nails it. That was the whole reason we netflixed it. And it took me almost the entire movie to realize who Chris Pine was, to his credit.

At any point in the movie, does Alan Rickman say to Chris Pine, "I see you managed to get your shirt off"?
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
