Liam Neeson as action hero? Not much story that you didn't see in the trailers; Neeson's ex-CIA, his daughter (whom he regrets not having been around while too busy with his work) goes to Paris with a stupid giggly friend and they both get instantly kidnapped by white slavers. Neeson kicks ass for the remainder of the movie and retrieves his daughter. At least he's not "soft" he doesn't attempt to wound anyone or settle for knocking them out; he kills everybody who gets in his way. I take that back; he does shoot one woman in the shoulder to blackmail an ex-friend into giving him info and apologizes for it. Other than that, though, everybody bad dies.

Okay, I sense the Hulu aliens coming for me. Despite the crappy, overcast day, I think I'm going to throw the puppy in the car, take her over to the dog park, let her run around and see if I can get some pictures. I can't believe she's already 16 weeks old.
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Yeti use "search". Yeti smart!

Saw this on cable and was pleased. Recently, a friend who has a new baby daughter quoted this from this movie on FB and a few other dads chimed in.

What I liked most about the film was the quality of the ass-kicking. It was just as Her Majesty recorded. Expedient killing, including shooting someone from behind which is one of my pet-peeves: Bad Guy bad? Kill him even if he has his back turned to you; in fact, especially if he has his back turned to you. :axe:

The wounding was hard-core, but I'm guessing that a dad would absolutely do that for their kid. Skip Knight & Day and see this.
