Four men take on the job of driving two trucks loaded with nitroglycerine 300 miles over a South American pass to an oil well that is burning out of control.

The dialog is in French, Spanish, English and Italian and changes on the fly, so subtitles are a must. It's over two hours long and the movie takes a while to get started but once the road trek begins it's pretty harrowing. The ending...argh...obviously French.

Side note: two of the main characters are roommates: Mario and Luigi...hmmm
