Scapino has always said a Soft-core porn flick was filmed at Monta Vista and he was in the stands. Well, I got the name for the film off the message boards over at Classmates.com and they had it at Netflix. Doing my solemn duty as a good Brother, I rented it and looked for Scapino. Although I have no idea what an eight year old Scapino would look like. I also rented it to see MV, the best school in the Fremont Union High School District.
I can't really I say I watched it. I fast forward through most of it looking for crowd shots of the stands. If you see it, you'll know why this was a wise choice on my part. Whenever I slowed the acting and dialogue was atrocious. I even caught bits of the story. Basically the cheerleader screw the opposing schools football team so they are too tired to play. Go Amarosa go. The girls looked pretty bad, too. But from what I saw as I clipped through the movie in under twenty minutes was lots of boob action. Quite racy.
They showed the playing field of MV, the gym, the locker room and some of the main quad, but I didn't get the overall nostalgia shots I wanted. I don't think Scapino shows up on celuloid in this one. Although there is a kid in a green tank top and big Elvis sunglasses that could have been him if it were shot a few years later. Maybe the Scapino needs to give it a look to find himself?
