K-Flicks - Dr. Ivor Yeti - 09-11-2022

I started working through DM's list of Korean action movies. First up: The Admiral.

Holy shit, that is some historical incident. Great sequences, acting was stoic, heroic, eeeeevil in turns.

Entertaining as all get out.

I’m looking forward to watching the sequel.

Most are reviewed here somewhere. This is where I store my notes, just for opportunities like this...

I’m confident you’ll enjoy The Swordsman. I keep thinking I should watch it again. I started it again but got distracted. I confess tho - Joe Taslim is one of my fav action stars rn.

The Swordsman was a very good movie. Well acted, politics not too convoluted, and the fight-chor was top, top quality. Joe Taz is so charismatic as a bad guy that you can ignore his wig. Recommended!
