Recovering from a wild weekend with a Monday full of work. Treated myself to a calamari sammich at Seabreeze just now. We had to walk home in the rain. It was so worth it.

I've got work as always, one meeting down, two to go, including one in-person at Tiger Claw, then check in on mom and the house, then some ultravi Miike-style with the CFs & a KF/SDCC brother.

One telemeet today - a Friday - with the other pub person for YMAA. It's the bossmang's mom. She's a bit of a luddite and we're discussing some web stuff. Yikes. I should medicate beforehand - not about keeping up with her, about slowing down for her.
Then a day of work. Stacy has a client requesting a massage style she hasn't done in a while so she wants to practice on me beforehand. Everyone thinks because she's a massage therapist that I get a lot of massage but no. It's just times like these...

It's international viognier day, so I'm sharing a bottle over a flatbread at a restaurant in Monterey with an amazing view. The "talent" just played Leaving on a Jet Plane as we look at the spot where John Denver died in a plane crash.

Well that's ironic.
I always liked his version of that song. It makes more sense that he says "I'll bring your wedding ring." Although the Peter, Paul & Mary version is very pretty.
