How is it that we haven't had a thread on this gem until now? I rewatched it over the weekend in anticipation of Kung Fu Soccer, which is allegedly getting a limited release here in the US next weekend.
It's still great. Every scene hits. A great comedy. A great sports movie. A great Kung Fu movie. The cheese special effects still land. It's a masterpiece.
I watched on YouTube with ads where I was inundated with political campaigns. Kinda a bummer. This version was in Cantonese but all the CGI written stuff like signs and such were redone in English. That was a bit odd. It also included the often deleted dance scene in front of the bun shop.
