I was thinking about the phrase "like the pot calling the kettle 'black'" on the morning dog walk when most deep thinking occurs for me and I couldn't help but wonder if people under 40 even understand the reference. Today 'pot' usually means something other than baking utensil and kettles are not frequently black. There is also a slight whiff of racism to the statement.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
