A serviceable thriller and Emily Blunt vehicle. Emily plays a drunk divorcee who blacks out and gets embroiled in intrigue surrounding the disappearance of her ex's nanny. It's told in a non-linear fashion, which got a bit confusing because I wasn't bothering to keep track of the time. Did she do it? I liked the way it toyed with perceptions of reality and Emily feigns alcholic well. The ever solid Alison Janney is the no B.S. investigator. Donna from That 70s show is the enabler friend. Phoebe from Friends was the tell - I had my suspicions of whodunnit, and they were all confirmed by Phoebs. Moody, mysterious, generally engaging. No sword fights. Only DOOM recommended if you like thrillers and Emily.
