Very satisfying. Fast paced, funny, exciting, entertaining, and the pay off for the last, how many is it now? 17 flicks? I laughed out loud more than I have in a movie in years. Solid 3D - worth it in my book.
I must recant my general disdain for comic book movies. The MCU has won me over.
The mcguffin ending caught me totally by surprise but in retrospect, it shouldn't have.

I liked it. And I hate everything. I was not caught off guard by the McGuffin because I am wise beyond my years. Or I've been following the news about this for what I think is my entire adult life.
I did like how much stuff there was in the movie that was not in the trailer. There were still plenty of fresh bits and new jokes. Even whole sequences that weren't even hinted at. The use of Peter Dinklage was phenomenal.

I intentionally tuned out of any MCU news for the last month or so.

Not a spoiler. Again. It's been in the news that he is in the picture.

Some of us tuned out of the MCU news so his appearance was a total surprise to me. And it was worth it because he came in at just the right point and in a good role. I was like ‘wait...is that who I think it is? Oh man, that’s perfect.’ It heightened my pleasure.

Why ever did you say that if you already knew Dinklage was joining the MCU? I suppose there were so many characters, by the time he appears, you've lost track of it all. At least that's the way it was for me. It just kind of was washing over me, in a good way, like a nice hot shower.
As for Deadpool 2, no worries - not even sure we'll be able to do that yet. I've got my ace card Patrick - his comic knowledge is where he really shines. If you've read any of our comic book KFM reviews, he does all the background comic stuff because it's his field of expertise. I encourage that because I always strive to empower our readers - with comic movies, a large portion of the review examines how the character/story played out in the original comic. Patrick can do that in his sleep. I come in with some martial tie to keep us real, and in this case, my ace card is Shatterstar, being played by Lewis Tan, who is also a new character in Into the Badlands and the newest member of DM's celebrity circle. We swap personal emails now. He gets back to me almost right away. We really hit it off in Dublin because he's a lifelong martial artist. So the review is practically written - we just need to see the movie to fill in the 'thumbs up or down' part. It's a mid day screener in SF, and that's tough to justify being away from the office right before the tournament, but I feel obligated because I've already got some peripheral interview trim from my ITB interviews with him. We'll see next week.

Kind of like how the plot of Infinity War goes? Yeah sure. You know, I just saw that.
Right now, I’ve got a lot on the plate, so I’m working through it here in some flailing attempt to keep it all straight in my head. Serious business that, at least it seems so right now from the inside. Apologies if it harshes your buzz.

Well, you are a big time Hollyweird reality star so allowances must be made.
No worries.

That's right.
I really don't know how you can live out here like this. The traffic density is ridiculous.
