My daughter wanted to bring her friend to this for her birthday. RM still has issues with this house ironically, and it wasn't on the list. So I called in a favor from an old friend who is now the house manager here and he hooked me up with box 2 passes, for old time's sake.
Like Anderson .paak this audience is really into Jon and has well manicured eyebrows. Tara tells me that's a thing with her gen. Sold out tight. Two rapper/singers, bass, rhthym guitar, drums, keys, and laptop. Jon played taiko at one song. It's a lively sound, hip hop with and electronic edge. Much different live than the recorded stuff. He's got a sound for sure - a lot of pop appeal. Again I hope he blows up so we can say we saw him at the War.
