Bruce Lee Tribute Night

Tuesday, 9/4 vs. ARI 7:15 p.m.

Tickets to go on sale soon. Please check back later for updates.
2012 serves as the "Year of the Dragon", so what better way to celebrate than to honor the life and times of The Dragon himself, Bruce Lee? Lee, a San Francisco native, went on to become arguably the most renowned martial artist of all time, and the Giants would like to recognize that! By sharing his knowledge and skills throughout the world, Lee became not only a master, but an icon. Your ticket to this event will include a collector's edition Bruce Lee bobblehead, as well as a ticket to the game in one of the Bruce Lee Tribute Night sections! Whether you are a martial artist, instructor, or fan, we look forward to hosting you and your group at AT&T Park. Partial proceeds from this event go to the Bruce Lee Foundation.

I could stay the week and attend the Irish Heritage Night II. Why do the Irish get two nights and Bruce Lee only one?

Sounds like fun. We should get KFM reporters passes and go.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit

We already have a Bruce Lee bobble head here at the office. I'll look into it tho. I haven't been to a ball game since Jerry was alive.

As long as no baseball is involved, I'm in!
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

...they wear knickers. You like men in knickers. Lord knows, you hang out with enough of them.

That's way too far off for me to think about seriously. When it gets closer, I'll see if I can get in via some sort of press side door, if y'all remind me.

This did get a nod from USA Today (<!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://content.usatoday.com/communities/gameon/post/2012/02/the-san-francisco-giants-havent-forgotten-bruce-lee/1">http://content.usatoday.com/communities ... ruce-lee/1</a><!-- m -->) so kudos for to ED for tipping us off early.

As T's school starts late, we usually take off for that week to go to some touristy place like Disneyland because it'll be vacant and cheap. It does sound like fun though - haven't been to a ballgame since Garcia died.

Please save three for us, ED. T has never been to a ballgame. S has been to plenty and says she might go, or she might just send me with T and one of T's friends. Whatev.

We're in.

OK Then -

ED
DM + 2
Greg + 1
TG + 1

That's 8 right there.

We're going to the game!

Anyone else should snap up tix soon. Just get them in the bleachers and we'll find a way to all sit together. Fans in the bleachers are very loosey-goosey about seat assignments. In fact I was going to trade half of our seats to the row behind us to let us sit closer together.

Just when start thinking DOOM is getting old and stale, ED comes in with a total game changer.

Looking forward to it. It'll be a great cap to summer 2012.
