I heard a story on NPR about countries like India and South Korea banning the export of rice to meet internal shortages.
I then read a story online about a Mt. View Costco selling out of rice.
I just returned from the Richmond Costco where thr rice was also sold out and a lonely sign said '2 bags of rice per customer'.
The reality of rice, wheat and flour shortages is getting kinda hock:
I mean - this is the stuff we send to starving nations, and we can't buy it here?
