Cypress Hill @ Fillmore 420 2008
I'm still shaking that one off and it's past 4:20PM on the following Monday. Smokiest show ever. They had a great inflatable Buddha holding a pot leaf. Cypress Hill slays me. They ordered pizzas after the show. How stereotypic can you be? They remain my fav hip hop band, them and the Wu, of course.

Thanks for talking about the cool poster and not posting a link. That really helps envision it.

...and i'm not going to scan it. it's going into the poster stack with all the others. you'll just have to live with my short description.
it's a low rider car being driven by a skeleton smoking on a blunt with a red dragon coming over it - all in a cartoon tattoo art style - all red, green and yellow, adorned with floating leaves. cypress hill 4/20 says it all.

That's not even close to the poster I imagined. Where are the fluffy bunnies?
Thanks, ED.

A DOOM prophesy! 4/20/16 Cypress Hill @ BGC was all about the bunnies.
Most impressive.

So dm's trip began at Jac U last week with the civic center bunnies. White rabbits actually. Follow the white rabbit. Then Bunny Wailer (NOT a white rabbit) then back to civic center for more bunnies. Dm would continue to follow the white rabbit but his trail washed away with the purple rain.
As you know, dm has been to plenty of 4/20 shows. Each year it gets progressively stonier. Each year, it is the stoniest event dm has witnessed, and dm has been at many a stony event. Hippie Hill was stoner bands, headlined by Berner & Cypress Hill. The entire Bgc including the halls and side bars formed a massive hot box. Staff was giddy with 2nd hand smoke. So thick. Like Cheech & Chong + Harold & Kumar. Concessions made a killing on munchies. There were 2 nooB vol EMTs who looked like they were 12 that had no idea what they were getting into. The radio holder radios in that he lost his partner in the crowd (this happens all the time, u just don't announce it on the radio).

Dm's psych crew, two formidable JNK masters, have backed dm at reggae fests, so they've been to plenty of stony events, but they were all impressed, blown away even, by the intense amount of smoke. The funniest thing was that a lot of the crowd left after Berner thinking the show was over at 11. Cypress Hill played past midnight. Nurse Rainbow (a tiedye queen at Rm now that was with bbbob & dm at the Dead Fare the Well shows in Chicago - TLk would like her), who is also an old cypress hill fan like dm, thought she missed them because she heard a lot of the exiting crowd saying how good they were. But they were wrong. The mistook Berner for Cypress Hill. Stupik stoners.
Dm just sobered up a few hours ago...

Z trip opened. A lame dj
Cypress hill launched into a majorly stony jam right after I finished my nachos. It’s still going. Just walking through the crowd you get a contact
