Drink some nettle tea just to spite it!

The stinging subsided the next day.
However, my left ankle has been bugging me. It's been pinchy near the bottom of my fibula, so much so that I think I might have a hairline fracture. This morning it's been super achy all around. I looked for an ankle brace for some external compression but could not find one. I used to have a box of braces and supports but that seems to have scattered.

Man, my ankle really hurts today. I’ve been limping about.
I need to go outside and rub more dirt on it.

I saw the PT Doctor rather than just the PT Therapist yesterday. I see him monthly. He seemed a bit disappointed in my range of motion and opted to give me some tougher exercises to do.
After doing a set this morning, I should have told him I would rather do planks.

Amputation is probably the only solution.

When I took woodshop back in Jr High, the first thing I made was a faux peg leg. Like for a pirate. To this day, I don't remember why. But now I think I know...
It's distressingly painful.

Easy there, Marcus Welby

That’s what Tara said.
Stacy thinks it’s neural because it moved from fibula to tibia. She’s has a point.
I just rubbed white flower oil into it and will move to some cannabis salve next. Going to sauna & salt bath later tonight. Debating over ice or infrared Jade heating pad.

My ankle is fine if I don't put any weight on it. I've discovered that I can walk on my heel with my toes lifted. It's feeling a tad better. Either that or I'm just getting numb.

Neuropathy?
My right foot has felt like it's been broken for several years. There is also the ongoing numbness in both feet. I get shrugs when I bring it up to the docs. I limp a lot and can no longer walk barefoot.

Neuropathy crossed my mind. I have it in my palms. But this feels different. My palms are constantly tingly and prickly. I went through that exam where a tech electrocuted me repeatedly all over my hands and forearms (started out ok but got painful as it went on) only to tell me at the end ‘yup. You got neuropathy.’ This feels quite different but I’m told it can manifest in different ways.
Sauna done. Some relief. Salt bath now. Tub just got drawn…

I'd hit it with some Tiger Balm. It's my go to.

Do you use the white or red TB, KB?
My GoTo is white flower oil & thc/cbd salves. Because I like to smell like pot & wint-o-green lifesavers.
I feel better today. My ankle is still sore but I can put weight on it again. I can abandon the cane, I think.
So weird. I was in so much pain yesterday. WTF?

The new exercises makes my shoulder sympathize with your ankle.
