Back at star
Yuki has an itchy snout. Allergies. He keeps rubbing his snout in the fresh cut grass which is prolly exacerbating it. We’ll take him in for an allergy shot soon, before his snout gets too raw.
After a gloomy day, the sun is peeking out now.

Just got back from a short walk around the neighborhood with Yuki. We gave him a bath today because he’s been shedding so much and was getting ripe. He’s crashed out next to me by the sofa I’m lying on. His paw seems to be improving but it might just be good doggy drugs…

Waiting to board. Staring at the men’s room.
An old guy just fell hard near me. I didn’t see it but I heard the thunk. Several people came to his aid including airport staff. There wasn’t anyone or anything around him. He’s seated behind me now, recovering.
I hate Southwest’s boarding number system.

Sitting outside in some public chairs in front of the paramount building drinking crap iced coffee.
At least I’m in a shady spot. And it’s very clean.

The problem with taking melatonin, whiskey & stress reducing herbs as sleep aids is that they tend to only be good for on circadian cycle for me, and I pop awake around now once they’re done.

Man, why can’t I sleep through my circadian cycle rollover lately? Such a bother…

Perhaps that was it. Slept ok last night tho.
Now we're home after playtime on Black's Beach with Duke Yuki's pack buddy Blu. He got some great runs in, first solid runs he's had since his pinky bean injury. He was so delighted to be back there.
It's a pain to get there for me now because Murray Bridge is under repairs. Those are long overdue and we heard they might continue until 2028. That's the bridge where DM & the Yeti's dear teammate Ben was killed in a tragic bike accident. I cannot but think of him every time I cross it. Now we have to go way around because it's the bridge over Ariana Grande creek and the first car crossing is way upstream. Such a bother.
