You know, I don't remember us setting a price. We talked about what we wanted. I figured if we got 3.5 out of the deal, it would be good. Our real estate agent thought we might get 3.7, which was exciting. But the house is in rough shape. It needs plenty of work, mostly cosmetic. A lot of the early bids came in at $3 million from the investor class. This guy started at 3.3, then went to 3.5. I countered with 3.7 and settled at 3.6. After costs, we should net 3.48

Congrats again. How does it feel?
And when are you going to host the D00M gathering with your windfall?

I'm sorry, who are you again?
Lots of feelings. Went out for a celebratory breakfast with the Queen driving El Señor. Still coming face to face with the definitive end of a chapter. Windfalls will occur when the home in Cambridge is sold. The selling process for that won't start until the tenants vacate at the end of June and we are kind of leaving that in the hands of Arctic sister. I'm also wrangling transfer of title on the apartment complex into my name, which will be the majority of my share of the proceeds from the estate. I just signed the first bit of paperwork with the Title Company.

We moved in to Lynch Castle in March of 1970 after living for a month in a Los Gatos hotel.
Cambridge should go for between 2.5 and 3. The lower number is more likely.

And just like that, I did not sell Lynch castle. Buyers backed out on the deal after doing an inspection. They wanted to expand the footprint and upon examination of the property realized they couldn't do that.

Offers to buy are due on Lynch Castle today. Our real estate agent called to say she has been in discussions with 5-7 agents and there have been 26 disclosures requested. I was getting worried since I had heard nothing from her since Sunday. Now, all I can do is look at the clock until the 3pm deadline. We have a meeting at 7:30 tonight to discuss.
