Watched the first 2 eps. E1 delivers a nice fight sequence at the start - a decent oner - but with the fighters masked it’s easy to have multiple stunt people doing the heavy lifting. There’s a major death that causes Matt to give up being daredevil, and Kingpin is the new mayor of NY. That’s a bit triggering - I binge vids as escapism so I don’t really care for a story about a criminal in a major political position. E1&2 is about both Daredevil & Kingpin finding their new roles, aspiring to change for the better and then backsliding. 

It’s ok. I’ll watch more but it’s feeling a lot like more of the same so far. I don’t buy that Daredevil is blind at all. He just has really good hearing.

Watched the second episode. The plot is a bit too close to home. Sopranos echoes with the therapy. It needs more She-Hulk

Still waiting for this series to take off. Still bugs me that Matt Murdock doesn't even seem remotely blind in his mild mannered disguise.

E4: Still too much talky, not enough punchy. Barely any punching at all. Srsly DD & Kingpin are in therapy. Yawn.

You know you’re effed up when you’re getting mental health advice from the Punisher…

Needs more punching. And if I wanted life advice, I wouldn't go to the Punisher. At some point, I hope a plot appears in this story. Unless I am too blind to see it.

The 2 ep drop was disappointing. The big reveal was her dad but not her, which was a fair Easter egg but she would’ve been awesome. Also the St. Paddy’s day ep felt late. That should’ve been released last week. A week late and a Guinness short. The main bank robber kept acting like a Colin Farrell clone, to the point that it got distracting.

It was a bit more punchy but the choreo is mediocre at best. It’s a far cry from the dazzling fights in the first series - that hallway fight and that staircase fight remain some of the best choreo the MCU has achieved. 

How many more eps? Now I’m just waiting to finish this and move on.

I liked the bank robbery episode. That was a good reveal a lot less angst, just Matt being cool.

I keep waiting for us to get to the point of why Kingpin wants to be mayor and this episode maybe gave the slightest hint of that. These were the better episodes of the season so far.

Ep 07. Now with more punching. But Fisk's scenes are all pretty static. The show is getting better but not a big 'WOW'

I see the end coming. Still don't know why Fisk ran for Mayor.

And that concludes the Daredevil.

Um, I don't know. There were plenty of Trump overtones to the show. But they don't really do much. The huge fight was in the dark so you couldn't see what was happening, which could just be my TV. The only character in the whole show who I thought had something of an arc was the creepy assistant to the Mayor. The show did have a good look. Shooting in New York paid off for them. But Daredevil and Kingpin didn't do a lot of active things, except in a few case.
