It's a fair cop.
Darth's license plate frame is White Rabbit candy. I got it at SDCC I think. Maybe it was some other fan gathering. Had it for a few years. I've been waiting for a time when someone has to follow me driving somewhere and I can say "follow the white rabbit".
Still waiting...
I will concede that Greg is the only D00MBro that upholds the sacred D00M nightdrop ritual. He's got me a few times in recent years. But my mom's house is an easy target. Nevertheless, well played.
What ever happened to the gargoyle?

Still missing.
My mother was most angry about the Milk can that ended up Lance's family home and Lance's mother liked it so much she kept it.
DM's mom's house is not an easy target but I can never remember where DM's mom's house is located. So much googling.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

My mom improved significantly over the weekend. She's off oxygen, back in her wheelchair, doing the daily exercises (they all follow this TV show exercise program), and eating well. She has very little memory of her week+ spent in the hospital. I guess that's just my own private horror show. Nevertheless, if she stays on track, she'll 'graduate' from hospice. My dad went on and off hospice a few times. We shall see...

I suppose I’m psychologically prepped for next time now.

What annoys me - and this is just my own issue - is that my mom has little memory of her entire hospital ordeal. Yesterday she asked me to fill in what happened. It was all like a bad dream for her. It was a waking nightmare for me, one that I shan't forget for some time.
I'm happy that she's doing better of course. She is diminished from it all. We'll see how much she recovers from it.

Stacy’s mom just went on hospice. She has severe dementia. She’s now at her 3rd husbands trailer home. He’s annoying. Stacy will visit her tomorrow.
My mom may well graduate off hospice soon. She’s off oxygen and her lungs seem clear. Her hearing, vision and memory are worse for the wear now and we spend out visits reciting the few facts she clings to and any news of the immediate family.

There seems to be a lot of looping and perseverating on the way to the final destination. My mom was fastidiously making lists even though her writing was completely illegible. Lots of repeated conversations. Telling me the same thing she told me the day before.

Yeah, seems like I’m in that same zone with my mom now. Making it harder is that she can’t see or hear very well so I have to yell our conversations. I struggle to be patient and compassionate. Then I feel guilty when my patience and compassion is weary.

I hated that. My mom would never wear her hearing aids. I would find myself getting really stressed from raising my voice and repeating and repeating.

My mom’s hearing aids don’t really help.

Total price for my mom’s last emergency = $228,930.75
Deductible brings it down to $1676.

My mom is graduating off hospice. Hospice was an amazing program. So glad it was provided. Hospice is free, but it raised her level of care, and consequently her fees at her care center. It went from $8K to $10K per month. Been that way since February I'm relieved that the price will come down again.
