Lynch Castle Estate Stories.

So much gathering.

It's supposed to be pouring for the grave side ceremony.

The cloud of anger emanating from me is really thick right now. Came back to the kids just packing up stuff they wanted without checking with me.

And there it is. Damn dysfunctional, your family is.

I'd say you should come out and join me & tg at one of our respective movies but you'd likely come back to an empty house, at least, empty of the good stuff.

I thought "Mom, Jr" was the executor. Why are you the heavy?
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

So did the graveside service get rained on? I've been ruminating on how many cinematic graveside services are in the rain and how that adds drama.

The pic of the rainbow you shared on your fb was gorgeous, Greg.

So much rain. They were supposed to provide a cover but didn't. Fastest service ever.

Oof. That sounds unpleasant.

Can you get a refund on that cover?

And so we are done. All that is left are the tears. The kids start heading home with their loot today. Good thing they didn't want anything. Only enough to fill a sprinter van.

I can't wait until the rest leave tomorrow so I can finally start really wrapping up the house. We meet with the real estate agent and another estate sales agent tomorrow. I'll be alone in the house by Sunday.

Today, we are taking out the primary kids without their SOs to tell them of their inheritance. It's not in the trust, but my father made the two sisters and I promise to give all his grand-children a certain amount. We've also opted to extend that to the great grand-children as well. The two kids under 18 won't be getting their money until their maturity.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off shoulder of Orionrion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die."

Thought of Wednesday's viewing during savasana today.

What the heck did they take? Furniture? I wouldn't think younger people would want so much of an old person's stuff.

We are meeting for the second time with the real estate agent and we are meeting with another estate liquidator. Dissolution of Lynch Castle is moving into its next phase.

Oddly, my mother's actual silver silverware is missing. We are also missing two wedding dresses. But they could be in two cabinets that are inaccessible in the garage due to clutter. Might try and open them today. We also have a locked hope chest in want of a locksmith.
