After yesterday’s sun, it’s dumping rain today. Got two meetings today. Work, writing & starting taxes. No iaido tonight, but a few of us are planning to get together for dinner just to hang and nerd out.

My remote day. I'll do some work, then take some books to Recycle, then hit the library store to check out the CDs. (They restock at the beginning of the month.)

Well damn. YMAA joins KFM - both sites are down. The YMAA issue seems local - cloudflare in San Jose is offline according to the error message. So bothersome. Watching a lot of spinning wheels of death. I’m on the clock but it’s a salaried deadline based job so it’s just wasting my time today.

It wasn't local. It was a DDoS attack from Brazil.
Feckn Brazilians with their shaves and jiujitsu. You'd think they'd have better things to do with their time. YMAA is back up. KFM is going way down this weekend - IT says it'll be back on Monday but they've been saying that since we first went down weeks ago.

I have a ton of errands to take care of this weekend, plus and article to write (and with that a few more films to review, taxes, prep for next weekend. Gotta cancel the cake order because pick up is too late. I’ll have to try another baker.
