We watched the first hour. It felt like forever. Ken Burns is thorough, maybe too thorough. The documentary is loosely structured around when his paintings were made and the discussions go deep. And Burns doesn't really dig for the drama. It's a lot of here are the facts. He's also getting his money out of the split-screens.

I want this to be more engaging.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
