Still a tad knotted. It felt great after the reggae (nothing like bass & edibles) but once that wore off, like the sauna & salt bath, the scars remain. It’s tolerable now and after iai tonight, I’ll get a break from practice.

When I get up, I’ll work for a few hours and then we head up to Mendo. Stacy has a yoga workshop over the weekend. We’re staying at this dog (and pot) friendly boutique hotel that’s a short walk from downtown & the beach. I’ll work some more off my laptop, relax, and hang out with Yuki. Looking forward to a change of scene.

A weekend in Mendo by the water sounds great. Enjoy!

We have arrived. So quaint.
Yuki loves the bed even though he has his own little dog bed.
The bathroom/shower is an adjacent hut that is smaller than our bungalow bathroom. We almost upgraded to the hot tub sauna room but bawlked at the $300+

I have cleared too much brush. The hike to the north hill carrying chainsaw and Sawzall was almost too much. I will spend the rest of the day couch bound.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm

All today’s goals have been met except for the graphic design (too ambitious) editing (later) and dinner (next).

Good luck and safe travels. Don't forget your qi garlic and crucifix.
Please pass my regards to your interviewee.
My packed day has begun. Telemeet 1 down. 1 to go, plus a major interview. Of course, my neighbor's roof is being rebuilt today so it's quite loud and I hope that doesn't bleed into my interview.
Had two intense nightmares last night, undoubtedly due to the stress of this week.
I have a whole pile of tasks ahead of me for today, mostly trip prep, but some can be carried over to tomorrow.
Of course, another huge project just got dropped on me, just now.
No rest for the wicked. But at least there was Mendo and that was a very pleasant weekend.

Honestly, I should’ve worked a bit harder in Mendo. But it was the weekend and I needed some rest.
I’m mostly packed. Most of my work is done too. I could do more to give me a better cushion for when I return but I’m spent. I have a telemeeting first thing this morning, then one more project to complete and turn in, then a final pack and over to visit mom. Maybe Jakes?
