It was good to get back to yoga class. It was good to get back to iai last night too (I was reminded how much I need to swing a sword about regularly - a nooB in the class said ‘fierce’ after I nailed one kata to which I replied ‘I watch too many samurai movies). It’s been nearly a month break from training. 

Now I’m at verve enjoying my oat milk cap (drank a lotta caps at OSL - the Coffee Movement’s cocoa cap is so delish and right next to Tara’s place) then home to work.

Today is Galaxy.con at the McEnery and then Billy Strings at the Greek. 

Big day. I should get some sleep…

I could go back to GalaxyCon and then back to Billy Strings night 2.

But no. 

I really need to get some writing done. I have three pieces on the frontburners right now.

Right now listening to some dub and going to draw some. I'm going to head over to Rasputin at noon and dig through the sale bin. After Christina gets off work we might go to the hardware store or the garden store.

Two telemeets today - done. I thought I had a lunch appt with my accomplice psych supe from RotR, but I was mistaken. That’s tomorrow. Went downtown and was waiting when I double checked our texts and realized my error.

First and only telemeeting today done as well as today's busy work. Lunch with my fellow psych supervisor imminent. Then walking Yuki. Then over to svale for a mom visit and some grocery shopping.

Still at mom's. Waiting to meet with a tree trimmer to get a quote. Then back to the bungalow for more work and mundane default life...

We just hired a gardiner. His crew are busy hacking away at the trees in my mom's yard as we "speak". Let me know if you need another referral...

I've got a good tree guy also. We've got a huge tree in the back yard that gets trimmed every year.

Yesterday Stacy took me to Namaste for lunch (there was a sewage leak nearby during her morning yoga intensive and she needed some olfactory refreshment). I had the chai. It was delicious. And yes, I’m still up. Fell down a YouTube rabbit hole of Kpop reggae. There’s a lot. So much. Such a deep dark hole. 

Today I have yoga but not my regular class - I can drop in for the intensive (hopefully no sewage leaks). Then work. I’m fighting the urge to work a shoreline reggae. Slightly Stoopid is headlining and I disdain them. The other acts aren’t much better. But a reggae at the dump? Nah, I should stay home and rest. I’ve been doing so much lately that I could use some TV zone out time.
