The Olympics are the best. Most events are kind of short so you can dip in and then go away. I watched trap shooting yesterday where the gold medalist hit 48 out of 50 clay targets. I watched a bunch of swimming at lunch including Katie Ledecky just crushing it in the 1500m. Tomorrow is women's foil where I think the USA Women have a great shot at a gold.

So much Olympics on Saturday. In a ninety minute span they had about ten files between the swimming and the Track and Field events. Look for the poor pole vaulter who knocked the bar off during the jump with his penis. The shotput should have been delayed because of the rain. The final four throws for everyone except Kovacs were terrible. I still haven't seen the Pommel Horse King but he must be having the time of his life.

Time to watch the Men's Foil team fence for Bronze. The crowd is going to be enormously for Team USAs opponents, France.

I don't know which of us was responsible for the Tiny Lobsters of D00M, but I salute you!

Just finished a heavy dose of Track and Fields finals with a ton of medals for the USA. Angry that the runner who won the 100 came down with Covid and rather quarantine came out for the 200m. Yes, he did get Bronze but he put all his fellow athletes at risk.

The capper was watching the last five minutes of the USA-Serbia basketball game to see who goes to the Gold Medal match against France. USA trailed for most of the game. They were down 17 at one point. Came through at the end to win.

So much good stuff.

I watched the TKD finals last night. That was fun. Then peeped some highlights - discus, speed climbing, boxing, Greco-Roman wrestling…

Honestly I’m not watching as much as I usually do because my schedule has been so crazy this year.

I watch from 11 to 1 when most of the big finals happen. It is quite convenient.
