When I was in the Taipei airport, I spent my last change at a drink vending machine. I got what I thought might be a bottled water called FIN. It had an image of a dolphin on it and a lot of Chinese text on it. It tasted weird. In my sleep deprived, Shaolin exhausted, pre-rona state, for a moment I wondered if this was supposed to be dolphin flavored water. 

Dolphin flavor. Like what does that even taste like?

I just looked it up and it's a Taiwanese electrolyte drink. I'm bummed I didn't grab the remainder of it when I made my quick escape from our bungalow to my mom's house. It'll surely be bad by the time I get back. I was kinda getting into it and could probably use more electrolytes right now.

Here I’ve been all cocky about not shifting my circadians that much with my week in China. The homecoming went ok (‘cept for the asymptomatic ‘Rona) but I’ve been crashing out around 6pm pst, which makes no sense because that’s 9 am cst. Yesterday, I gave into it and then woke after midnight. Today I muscled through it (was literally dozing off whilst queueing YMAA spam and found some goofy errors on my proofing) then I did my sauna/salt bath just before bed. I can sleep in tomorrow - luxury!

But now I’m awake again. At 2 am (5 pm cst). WTF? It’s getting worse not better. Dammit!

Maybe I’ll get up and get some melatonin & nite cheese…

Nite cheese!

Got through my first KFM piece which has been handed over to Kevin for layout. There’s a missing pic (in my old pc which died of Covid - IT is working on it but might fail) and another paragraph I need to add, but it should go live this week.

Got most of the heavy lifting done on piece 2. I’m thinking there will be 5 parts to this.

I’m racing to get it done while it’s still fresh because I’ve got a lot of mind numbing activities coming up in the next 3 weekends. Fortunately I’ve left a lot of notes (here and in my photo logs). 

But I hit the wall tonight and had to default to mindless TV & YouTube watching, just to stay awake in hopes of getting my circadians back on track.
