Podcaster Will Forte sets off to the southeast of Ireland to look into a twenty five year old murder with the help of a British based reporter of Irish descent and a very efficient assistant. The reporter is basically hiding because the lead in her last story killed himself and wants nothing to do with this Yank and his podcast. But the mystery starts to intrigue as she senses a cover up. Forte is good as the clueless podcaster who is fascinated to be in Ireland and embraces all the horrible cliches of Yanks in Ireland.
Caught two episodes. Will watch more. Lots of good Irish things going on including road bowling!

Finally! Episode 5 is where everything clicks together. All the pieces of the weird murder mystery sort of come together but they are all wrong, too. Up to this point, the story has been find. Everyone has secrets and you aren't sure what those are. There are a lot or revelations along the way but those only lead to more mysteries. Will Forte continues to play the character he always plays but there is some darkness to his story as well. Dove continues to be a complete bitch, driven to solve the mystery and hates everything Irish despite being Irish. And then there is Amber who seems to be a bit of a goer.
I was almost ready to finish this off last night because I wanted answers but it was a bit too late in the day.

This finished up nicely. Normally Will Forte annoys me - hated Last Man on Earth - but he was good in this. I'd say recommended to DM since he likes the UK mysteries.

I'm going to say the show peaked on Ep05 and then became a mess after that. In episode 6, you kind of know all the mystery solutions and you just have to see how they play out. Dove remains an unlovable character. Will Forte was more tolerable than usual. I thought Emily was good and glad she made out. I'm still trying to think of how Seamus.....
It's a solid show but the ending doesn't really stick the landing.
