Haven't had a donut in ages. I need to go to Bob's Donuts to see if I can get a coffee cup.

Two in the morning and 1 at night. Glipizide was the opposite of Ozempic as those pills should have kept me from losing weight. According to my doctor, Glipizide was a brute force drug. Metphormin works with your body better. I must be on this cocktail of meds for at least a decade or more now. At one point at my worst, the pharmacy tech considered putting my on insulin.

Looks like I’m joining the glip club. I can’t take the side effects of metaformin. I’m at 500 and my doc doubled my dosage but at that rate I suffer from terrible coughing fits and bad acid reflux. Even at 500 I have issues. So my doc said to stay at 500 and start taking glipizide, 1 per meal.

The glip is on order. We shall see how it goes:

According to my doctor, Glip is nasty. She was happy I was off it. Glip is a more brute force approach to keeping your blood sugar in check.

Not looking forward to it. Did you experience any side effects from it?

Not that I'm aware of. And I was taking a bunch of Glips because my blood sugar was skyrocketing.

Do you get any sides from the metformin? That started out fine but perhaps the cough and stomach issues were always a problem that I just wrote off to my usual aches & pains. It wasn't until I was instructed to double my dosage that I realized that those ailments were connected to the met.

Fortunately, I do not. I was taking 2000mg. I'm down to 1500mg. I'm looking to drop one more dose.

I’m hoping to get off it. Doesn’t look like the glip will replace it from what you’ve said, but clearly our experience is quite different. If I took that much met, I would die of a coughing seizure.

Not sure the glip is for me. My vision is blurry & I’m lightheaded (more so than usual). Also had some weird headaches. Intense cottonmouth and still have those nasty coughing fits. Just don’t feel right. I should talk to my doc about it.

My glucometer is on the fritz too. I think I need a new one.

Get the puck! We can be Puck Buddies! That doesn't sound right.

I get to go through another round of customer support with my puck provider as they have decided to charge me full price again.
