I saw weather map several months ago talking about the El Nino. It showed two paths for storms. One headed north through the Bay Area. One headed south through Los Angeles. There was this little bit in between the paths that was going to get average weather. Raymond is in that little bit. The only bad storm and still not that bad was over the weekend. Snow fell for the first time up the hill in Oakhurst at elevation 2200'. I'm at 1500'. This time last year, though, is when we had our first big snow.

Breakfast with my partner in psych supervision for JAH med. She kindly lent Tara her place over the holidays while she was in Nawlins visiting her son, who recently joined the Air Force. Then work. Then dog outing. 
The electrician comes today to wire up the sauna. Another unseen fee.

I’m not really doing anything for LNY this year. It’s Kung Fu & writing about ninjas today, plus juggling dog walks, Valentinebd prep, the electrician finishing up, and a grocery store pick up.

Today was another day of Victory and now I am having a snack of cheeeeese.

Tomorrow, Superb Owl Sunday and Lunar New Year, H & I will be hitting the antiquarian book fair. It’s been 20 years or more since I’ve gone. One of her friends is working a table at the fair (book binder)

Thanks for the reminder. I shall don my Super Bowl shirt and hat that I got as a thank you souvenir from being at the Super Bowl. 

Yoga today, then another Distinguished Artists concert (right smack in the middle of the Super Bowl), then maybe dinner at our local Chinese place as a belated Lunar new year thing. Maybe I’ll do some laundry in our new washing machine. Definitely need to finish my ninja piece because I didn’t make as much progress as i planned (deadline tomorrow).

Gave a laser cutting demo to a printmaking class. Went well on my end but hard to say if they got anything from it. Now doing some test cuttings for the instructor to print. Unfortunately the vent fans make it too loud to listen to music.

It's a typical Tuesday - work, then over to svale to check in on mom. There's a visiting KF master from Co who I might get together with tonight but if not I have plenty of odd chores there. And I'm still on Jury call...

I slept poorly and had a bad sinus headache and sore throat. I may be getting sick; I feel cold and a bit stupid. I have a dentist appointment on Thursday to get my permanent crown put on, so I need to be better for that.
