Also in the final episode: tentacles. Many, many tentacles.

You kind of need to watch the final two episodes. It's a two parter. There are also tentacles in the Dr. Strange episode.

Well alright.
I saw the Dr. Strange ep because you recommended it's tentacularity earlier. It was okay I guess. The tentacles were tentacular.

Watched the Thor Ep (e7). Yeah, kinda funny. Glad for Howard. He needs a larger role in the MCU. I’ve been thinking I should watch Thor again because I don’t remember it well. Been thinking that since Loki. I confess I’m slow about the character cameos. I kinda get most of them but I only remember their context vaguely. Perhaps I should pay more attention, but to do that takes me out of the mindless comfort zone that the MCU puts me into and that defeats the point. That’s my biggest quibble with the MCU - too much plot. I can’t keep up. All superheroes like kinda the same to me. I know, I know... that’s not quite true but that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Watched the Ultron Ep too (e8). Not quite following it mostly because I’ve forgotten what happened in Ultron too. MCU films just go into my eyes and ears and then evaporate in my brain. The Watcher is the ultimate voyeur and I’m not clear what purpose he serves in the multiverse. Like he just watches? Does he eat and poop? WTH is he exactly? Meh, I don’t care. But the Ep was entertaining enough so I’ll watch the finale soon.

E9 finale. That did come together well. A good tie up indeed. And was that redemption for BW? I'm lost as to what's canon now. Good tentacle action. It was interesting which voice actors played and who didn't (Downey, Brie, ScarJo...they got most of the rest). I didn't feel I missed much skipping a few eps. Glad for Thor. Wanted more Howard. But it was better in the end than expected.
Will they do a Season 2?

They have talked about doing season 2. BW is still dead in the current timeline. But I think there was word that more movies could be made in her earlier timeline.
It will be interesting to see how What if..? and Loki tie in to the upcoming Spiderman and Dr. Strange movies since the MCU seems to be deep into Multiverse stories. (So, is DC for that matter)

I'm calling bullshit. Thor wouldn't celebrate a holiday from the religion that stole most of his followers.

I'm not doing Disney+ at the moment either but will subscribe again when Echo and Daredevil reappear. Also for Indy.

Disney+ is back on. I had to get the package with commercials.
Ep01 Guardians of the Galaxy. Nebula is a police detective on Nova after a shield blockades the whole planet to keep Ronan the destroyer from destroying the planet. As always it was fun playing guess the voice actor. The only one who didn't show up was Glen Close. Howard the Duck is involved. Solid episode.

Ep02 Peter Quill returns to Earth with Ego's powers. Once again a great voice cast with Annette Benning, Michael Douglas, Kurt Russell and Lawrence Fishburne. But the story is pretty meh. Chris Hemsworth is incredibly or was given just bad dialogue. My big question was whether they go the cast to do the voice work while they were doing the live action.

Ep03 The Christmas Episode. Hammer tries to take over Avenger's Tower. Happy hulks out. More bad VO work from Chris Hemsworth.
It was kind of amusing because the whole episode was an homage to Die Hard with many nods to the original from the elevator exit, the chase through the air ducts, and final scene of Hans Gruber falling off the building. I gave the episode many wry smiles.
