Bald Craig was a tad shocking. He joked about it. Amok at as shocking as seeing him as a dad. I’m trying to think of when that was - maybe over a decade ago? It was good to see him.
I have a growing bald spot on the back of my head that I only see in photos of the back of my head. My hair is still black though, with flecks of silver, more in my mustache & beard.i keep thinking I should shave again but it feels like my skull has gotten even more ridged than before and with the facial hair now, I’d probably look like a Klingon ming the merciless.
This Tuesday I have a morning YMAA meeting then up to Fremont where my doc still is to get some warts frozen then a quick stop by tiger claw then lunch at the mall where I ate lunch once almost every week for 20 years then to svale for work and a mom visit then the finale of onimusha. Feels like a lot for a Tuesday.

Well that was surreal. Not sure what I was expecting. There’s a Costco moving in on one side of the mall (there’s a Costco at the next exit - such is Fremont). Most of the stores were closed. Those that remained were clinging to life hoping Costco will arrive in time, except for the theater & Macy’s. The food court is down to 2 places. Creepy. I suppose it was good closure going back. Maybe I’ll stop in again after Costco opens.
Meanwhile my photoshop crashed hard just now. Might have to reload it all. Dammit.

So after an afternoon of reading up and watching tutorials on photoshop crashes, reboots, reloads, I concluded that I needed to do the ol' uninstall>reinstall because I tried everything else discussed but that but I want to do that at home, sitting next to my main puter.
So I switched over to writing.
So I was writing when my photoshop suddenly came back.
So I switched gears and finished the graphic I was working on when it crashed.
So I finished that but didn't feel up to doing the other 3 or 4 I had planned to do today.
So then I went back to what I was writing and in my haste, I closed photoshop.
So now I can't open it again.
So I see how it is.
Photoshop is fukkin with me.

Photoshop turned on randomly again. Maybe it’s just taking a long time to open but that’s just one of the growing weirdness with my photoshop. I also can’t change my marquee tool from rectangular to elliptical.
Anyways tomorrow I have a meeting with my YMAA boss to finalize the website for the weekend, then I must follow up on Hells Fukyu yet again, then home to work more. Maybe get to that onimusha finale. I lost a lot of time today dealing with photoshop.

Have you considered switching to ferrets?

Alas, you are right. Ferrets would be better.
Been wrangling puter problems all day. Almost at the point where I can attend to today's work, as soon as my Mac finishes rebooting. Not even sure what's up with my Photoshop (that's on my laptop) - not going to bother with that right now...

Not turning on my puters for 4 days. They need rest. So do I.
It’s over the hill to my moms where Stacy will give me an ashiatsu session (she still needs to fulfill her 20 sessions to become certified but recently discovered that she can have repeats), then visiting mom then up to sf for dog walkn, then check in to hotel near the presidio then find someplace for dinner that doesn’t have to serve turkey.
Happy holidays all!

Pack up and check out, then pick up Tara and head back to FXSF. We’re coming late and leaving early. Taking Tara out to dinner at some Italian place that does gluten free, a belated birthday celebration. Then home to the Cruz.

Is she still doing them in SJ? I might be interested if I can get the timing to work. My daughter highly recommends it!

T-Day was just me & H. First time just us and it was very nice. I cooked the turkey (with my credit card) and it turned out perfectly, like every year. H cooked the sides with no CGI and they were outstanding. We finally stirred for a walk after dinner, our only venture outside. Perfect.
Friday was “Recovery Thanksgiving” for those who were stuck with relatives on regular T-Day that they do not like. Oddly, all fencers except one fellow. 7 peeps, same spread as the day before. People I like, but I am not the most social of yetis.
Saturday was an open house/lunch/ food/drink at the home of very good friends of H’s in Oakland. Many strangers & some children. People were kind and generally interesting, but my Social Bucket had been emptied the night before. I finally got more into the swing of actually talking to people by the end of the evening. The food was outstanding, too.
Now Saturday night and no plans for Sunday. Tonight, just some reading, some gnawing on left-overs. Tomorrow…aside from a long walk in a cold city, no plans.
