The latest comic based thriller. Four murders all in the same alley happening over the course of a hundred years. The detectives involved in the case all suffer some form of prejudice in their jobs whether it's sexuality or religion. At this point as all the groundwork is set, it is quite intriguing. Ep01 has an especially good ending. There are some really gruesome bits as we watch the Victorian era autopsy.

Ep02 More mysteries. More twistiness as we jump up and down the timeline. I still have no idea where this is going but it's been a really fun ride. I hope this pays off.

Ep03 More Bodies goodness. The Victorian detective gets in trouble and the sexual tension finally gets dealt with. The Future detective continues to sport the worst haircut in show business but she starts to act more like a detective. Trouble in the current timeline as well. We also find out who the potential bad guy is. There is a lot going on. It's a great puzzle box.

Two more episodes last night. The show keeps delivering big surprises but it's losing a bit of momentum as they have to stop and tell the story rather than just give out tantalizing hints. But it is all very well crafted. Lots of paranoia as you try and figure out who are the bad guys and who are the good guys. The timelines are starting to overlap, too. It's all very good.

Episode 6. This one shows the viewpoint of the commander and how everything came about and talks about his loop and what went into it. We are getting close to the end.

And we are done. This was 98% a really good show that just messed up the landing. If they had stop with the feel good reveals a few minutes earlier, it would have been much better. But they went one too far and all the questions bubbled up. And they just kind of left one story line and hoped no one noticed.
It was still a really fun show. Plenty of interesting action. I liked the way it was done.

I concur...
I like that each of the 4 detectives were strong characters with stories and there was no central lead.
The screen splitting embellishment was a little overdone, but maybe was trying to call back to graphic novel roots?

I enjoyed this too. The period parts looked really good, the future part less so.
It left a couple of threads hanging but did pretty well. I think Christina enjoyed it more since she doesn't read SF, so isn't up on the usual time travel tropes.
